I have a Masters Degree in Human Services/Counseling from National-Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. IDFPR License Number : 180005798

Approach

My approach is eclectic, meaning I utilize a combination of several types of therapy in order to best suit your needs. Some of these therapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Culturally Sensitive Therapy.

I believe in a collaborative approach, us working together, putting our minds together. I may be an expert of therapy, but you are the expert of you. so your input is welcomed and encouraged.

How I Help Clients Succeed

I help clients succeed by assisting them to make connections between their present behavior and their past experiences.

I teach clients to show compassion and love to themselves first and to assert themselves as the authors of their own stories.

I use humor as a therapeutic tool as a way to instill hope, recognizing that in every crisis there is opportunity.

I challenge clients to question their current thinking patterns and to analyze their current behaviors. We assess whether those thoughts and behaviors are productive or counterproductive to what they plan to achieve and/or obtain.

Insurance/Payment

I accept Aetna, Optum and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO. I also accept private pay at $200/hour.

I accept Zelle and CashApp as forms of payment.

My Philosophy

I believe that the most important relationship we have is the relationship we have with ourselves. I help clients to redefine and re-establish their relationship with self.

I will provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Monday,Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (3pm-7pm)

Wednesday (8am-10 am)

Saturdays and Sundays (12p-6pm)
